'Sailor War'

Sailor Starfighter is my fav out of all the starlights! This pic will go along with the other three, so please be patient untill I finish them all! I'm very slow..

Ok, the star shaped weapon she's holding is called a sailor star yell. I just found that out when looking for reference pics of it. Turns out it wasn't even featured in the original manga, but was created for the anime so that it could be made into plasic toys and sold to the kiddies. Also, the Starlights were all supposed to have short hair, but Naoko Takeuchi was forced to add long hair, because she was told that short haired dolls were too hard to make. hmmm...

Saiya's voice actress ( Shiho Niiyama) died in 2000 at the age of 29 (I finished watching the series that year, so I was very upset when I heard the news). I think she also voiced Deedlit from Record of Lodoss war.
